For this project, I selected a typeface to research and showcase through a type specimen design. I chose Courier, focusing on its origins as a a typeface created for the typewriter. I designed four spreads intended to be part of a foldable booklet. Two of the spreads emphasize Courier’s pragmatic, utilitarian role in office and administrative settings. The other two explore its more expressive side, highlighting the typewriter as a tool where ideas, literature, poetry, and art come to life.
