For this chapbook project I use text from one of my favorite novels “Valley of the Dolls” by Jaqueline Susann and the song “Nice and Quite” by Bedouine. I got comfortable with all of the detailed work required for setting long form type and weaved expressive type throughout the text. The expressive type builds as you go through the booklet, and is meant to represent tears falling on handwritten notes.
